PSUT Students Visit to Ma'an Governorate to learn about its pioneering renewable energy projects

On October 2023, a group of PSUT students visited the Ma'an Governorate to learn about its pioneering renewable energy projects. The visit was organized by the IEEE PSUT PES in collaboration with the university's Alumni Club and coordinated with Engineer Mohammad Al-Shammari, an

alumnus of our university.

Engineer Al-Shammari led the group on an extensive tour of the governorate's renewable energy projects, showcasing impressive initiatives in wind and solar power generation. This visit provided students with an invaluable opportunity to see firsthand the practical applications of their studies and gain a deeper understanding of the renewable energy industry.
In addition to the educational tour, the group also explored Ma'an, taking in the local landmarks and learning about the rich history of the governorate.

Connecting expert alumni with current students is crucial for sharing valuable knowledge and experience. This visit was particularly beneficial for students, bridging the gap between theoretical knowledge and real-world application, and offering them a comprehensive view of the industry's practical aspects.
