Hussam Hasan Hammo graduated in the academic year 2006/2007 وــمح ماــسح
with a Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science. CEO and founder
of Tamatem Games, founded in 2013, which is the first company
in the Arab world to publish Arabic games on mobile phones. Hussam Hammo
Tamatem develops games as well as working on the Arabization of
internationally-known games and making them compatible with
Arab culture. During the last four years, the company has seen more
than 50 million downloads of its games
Tamatem is growing steadily with a growth rate of more than
150% per year. More than 25 people work in the company, mostly
graduates of PSUT
Hussam Hammo won the Queen Rania Award for Entrepreneurship
in 2007 after founding Faye3.com as the first Arabic-language social
networking site
He has received several international awards in entrepreneurship
and is a member of the Private Sector Partnership Committee as
a consultant for the ICT sector. Hussam recently featured on the
covers of the magazines Inc. Arabia and Forbes Middle East
In December 2021, Tamatem raised $11 million in Series B funding
round led by South Korean video game developer KRAFTON, Inc.
