Nabeel A. Al-Zaqqa

Nabeel Abdulkareem Al-Zaqqa graduated in the academic year
1999/2000 with a Bachelor’s degree in Electronics Engineering.
Nabeel is a highly experienced project manager and consultant with
expert knowledge of the Smart Mobility Systems sector specializing
in the development of processes and procedures to drive innovation
and best practice.
Nabeel’s particular expertise is in the integration, operations and
maintenance of transportation systems. As Technology Delivery
Sponsor for the Highways Agency, UK, he led the development of
operational and safety procedures for the Active Traffic Management
Pilot Project. He left the UK in 2008 to take up the position of Chief
ITS Engineer for the Roads and Transport Authority in Dubai, UAE.
In 2016, Nabeel went on to found Surface Mobility Consultants in
the UAE, a company that provides specialized consultancy services in
the field of transportation.
