The Princess Sumaya University for Technology Alumni Club held its annual general meeting on Monday, December 19, 2022, at the university's Friendship Auditorium. Around 26 graduates attended after receiving email invitations.
Khalil Wahab, the President of the Alumni Club, welcomed everyone and introduced the club and its membership benefits. He also presented reports on the previous committee's activities and the financial statements. Then, nominations for the new administrative committee were opened.
Seven alumni were nominated:
1. Monther Wahbeh: Electrical Power and Energy Engineering graduate (2010), Project Manager at Estarta.
2. Nadine Suleiman: Entrepreneurship graduate (2020), Business Development at UN ESCWA.
3. Mohammad Hassan: Computer Science graduate (2020), IT Department at Abdul Hameed Shoman Foundation.
4. Randa Yousef: Business Information Technology graduate (2019), Quality Assurance at Jordan Kuwait Bank.
5. Khaled Salama: Electrical Power and Energy Engineering graduate (2017), Project Coordinator at Planco Consulting GmbH.
6. Lubna Mahasneh: Electrical Engineering graduate (2021), Design Engineer at Model Systems Control.
7. Yumna Hassouneh: Business Administration graduate (2021), Alumni Follow-up and Career Guidance at Princess Sumaya University for Technology.
During the meeting, alumni also discussed ideas and suggestions for improving and energizing the club.
The new administrative committee met for the first time on Tuesday, December 20, 2022, and the following positions were assigned:
• President: Monther Wahbeh
• Vice President: Nadine Suleiman
• Coordinator: Lubna Mahasneh
• Treasurer: Randa Yousef
This meeting was an important step in strengthening the Alumni Club and enhancing its connection with the graduates.
